The full carbon rim construction features a Fore Carbon Technology tuned layup to keep the weight to a minimum while enhancing responsiveness and efficiency under power. The strength to weight ratio of the rim is improved further by integrating metal spoke thread inserts, eliminating the need to drill the upper rim bridge after moulding to insert separate spoke nipples. A 32mm rim depth gives an admirable aerodynamic performance despite its relatively shallow depth thanks to its wind tunnel tuned profile. At the same time, the rim's 21mm internal width lowers rolling resistance and improves comfort by coercing tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres into superior cross-sectional profiles.
Heightened power transfer and increased durability are realised by the Infinity hub shells that provide a stable anchoring platform for the straight-pull spokes, promoting more even build tensions. These hub shells encase smooth-spinning bearings that have an automatic preload adjustment configuration to improve longevity.
