MAVIC COSMIC SL 45 DISC WHEELSET 2021
Thoroughly versatile, the Mavic Cosmic SL 45 Disc Wheelset amalgamates refined materials and a sophisticated design to promote performance across any parcours, whether mountainous, rolling or flat. A high grade of carbon fibre is utilised in the rim construction to naturally afford high degrees of power transfer and efficiency while keeping the weight low.
This carbon material is meticulously moulded into a 45mm deep NACA wind tunnel tuned profile to not only reduce drag significantly but also to provide vast amounts of stability at high wind yaw angles. The broad, 19mm internal rim width forces tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres into more voluminous cross-sectional profiles which helps them achieve lower rolling resistance and improved levels of comfort.
Double-butted spokes that are laced in a two-cross pattern, team up with the advanced flange format of the Infinity hubs to grant more even spoke tensions, improved efficiency and enhanced disc brake modulation.
The hub shells encase super-smooth bearings while the Instant Drive 360 freehub gives near-instant engagement under load.
