If you’re considering the Wahoo KICKR Smart Trainer, it’s essential to know which bikes are compatible. Unfortunately, the following bike models are not compatible with the KICKR V5, KICKR ’18, KICKR ’17, or KICKR CORE: 2021 Trek Emonda, 2020-2021 Trek Domane & Madone, 2021 Giant TCR Disc Models, Lauf True Grit, and All Cervelo Disc Frames.

How Accurate Is the Power Measurement on the Wahoo KICKR Smart?

Testing and Setup

We reviewed and tested the KICKR while connected to Zwift training app via bluetooth connection. 

The set-up is straight forward to your choice of training app, choose your device of choice, tablet, laptop or even mobile device. Although the bigger the screen the more enjoyable your session will be. For testing purposes we used an iPad 11, downloaded the Zwift apps onto the iPad and then connected to the KICKR via bluetooth.
